In a country like Nigeria, sometimes when people go sick they seek the expertise of a pastor, an alfa, and a doctor all at once.

In this type of situation, sometimes, each one of these people will have an explanation: the pastor's and the alfa's explanations will be the same and they will be in line with what they do: the issue is spiritual, while the explanation of the doctor will be different and in line with his profession: it is a medical issue.

Problems might be Spiritual or Medical related at times. According to Islam there's no disease that Allah didn't create its cure. It now depends on whether the cure will be Spiritual cure or medical.

Some ALFAS use this to scam people, even when they know that the solution to their clients problems is Medical, they'll still tell them it's Spiritual. But Nigerians love miracles, that's why you see them seeking solutions Spiritually even when they know that it's medical.

That's why so called Alfas, I call them Babalawo use this method to get money from their clients.

Doctors at times will tell you it's a spiritual issue not medical. Many doctors know nothing about their job except to recommend sleeping tablets.

When a Naija doctor say it's spiritual take the person to Professional Doctors here or abroad then you'll know it's purely medical related.
