Google has made it official that starting from 15th February it’s going to block ads that are super annoying, obtrusive and disturb the user experience.

Google Chrome presently doesn’t include an ad-blocker and customers have to put in third-party extensions so as to have an ad-free experience. Now with this announcement, customers won’t need to depend on third-party ad-blocker applications. This may prove to be a call of death for these tools because, in response to Google coverage, it’s going to block its own ads too if any of them are discovered obtrusive.

There’s one catch to this ad-blocking update; all of the adverts won’t be blocked however solely the ads which haven’t cleared Google’s ‘Better Ads Standards’ will probably be tackled. Any web site in violation of Google advert standard will probably be blacklisted and admins must submit a request to re-consider the blacklisting as soon as the advert experience on that web site has been improved.

Ads are annoying, particularly obtrusive pop-up and pop-under adverts. This step by Google will assist web site administrators make the most of their internet properties with out destroying the user experience of their web site which in return will improve the level of trust, good-will and therefore sales from the customers. A win-win state of affairs for everybody.
