I am a newcomer to fashion design, an aspiring one sort of. I am actually a practicing engineer with a passion for good clothes. Right now, am thinking of venturing into making bespoke shirts with unique never-been-seen-before designs, sounds ambitious doesn't it? I already have contact with some Cotonou based tailors that are really good. I intend to target the young, upward and mobile market. I would appreciate any business tips/advice from experienced ones out there, Also is there any software commonly used in fashion design? My search on the web came up with a variety of brands, I would like to hear from someone currently using any of the softwares, someone with a first hand experience. Thanks.
