OH, WE LOVE THIS PHARAOH....

Okay, it's no longer news that Femi Fani-Kayode celebrated the power bike accident of President Buhari's son with champagne, and then used the celebration to say President Buhari is Pharaoh and that his son's accident was a sign from heaven asking him to "let God's people go", and you're left wondering who are these God's people that needed to be let go, and when and where did Buhari chain or enslave these God's people!

Or better still, from where did these God's people migrate to Nigeria, so much that they fell into enslavement in Buhari's hands? And if Buhari is to let these God's people go, is Femi Fani-Kayode the Moses that will lead them back to (the Promised Land) where they migrated from? And if I understand Femi Fani-Kayode very well, his quest for the "freedom" of his own version of "God's people" from the "strong hands" of "Pharaoh Buhari" means the same thing as a return to PDP's gloomy and ignominious rule which he misses with all his heart, mind, soul and body!

However, while the likes of Femi Fani-Kayode will want their types to assume, think or even accept that Pharaoh connotes negativity, brutality and wickedness, it's my immense pleasure to say definitively that there were good Pharaohs that governed Egypt, and one of them was the one that empowered Joseph to govern Egypt with him and which together they embarked on a massive agricultural scheme to diversify the economy so as to avoid a looming economic recession that was well predicted!

In other words, let's just simply look at "Pharaoh Buhari" and see whether he fits the profile of a benevolent (kind) Pharaoh, or a malevolent (evil) Pharaoh:

1. On assumption of office in 2015, "Pharaoh Buhari" paid off some oil subsidy debts inherited from the previous Pharaoh to the tune of over 500 billion naira to oil marketers, which helped to stop the biting fuel scarcity that lingered from January 2015 to May 2015....

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

2. Then "Pharaoh Buhari" sourced for funds from LNG - an agency we never knew was generating so much cash during the reign of the previous Pharaohs - and used the funds as bailouts to 27 states that were owing several months of pay to their workers when the previous Pharaoh was in power and who lied to the gullible that he had built Africa's largest economy (that couldn't pay salaries)....

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

3. Consistently, "Pharaoh Buhari" has continued to hand out bailouts and Paris Club refunds to all the states to enable them meet their statutory obligations....

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

4. In 2012, the previous Pharaoh got his soldiers and policemen to raid and lock up THE NATION newspaper house in Lagos, and did the same to several newspaper houses like DAILY TRUST, PUNCH, THE NATION (again) and LEADERSHIP in June 2014 wherein he got soldiers to seize all their newspapers alongside their distribution vans to prevent certain publications from reaching readers, and thereafter even got a correspondent of an international radio station thrown out of Aso Rock in that same 2014....

Well, "Pharaoh Buhari" returned that journalist back to Aso Rock after assuming office and he has not locked up any newspaper house till date....

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

5. In January 2012, the Pharaoh in power at that time got heavily armed soldiers and policemen to seal up a recreational park in Lagos in order to prevent elderly people like Prof. Wole Soyinka, Femi Falana, Gani Fawehinmi's widow and her son, and quite a number of high calibre celebrities among thousands of Nigerians from gaining access to the park so that they could not protest against the wicked, cruel, barbaric and sudden removal of subsidy from petroleum products by that Pharaoh! Those elders were even teargassed when they dared the brutality of those armed men and their Pharaoh, and the same brutal tactic was deployed to stop the protests in Abuja and other cities which culminated in the killing of some youths across the states!

This is what "Pharaoh Buhari" has never done since May 2015 till date....

6. "Pharaoh Buhari" has not contrived any crisis for any selfish reason within the Nigerian Governors Forum, to the point that he could even recognize 16 as greater than 19 in the election of their leader as the previous Pharaoh did....

7. "Pharaoh Buhari" has not attempted to unconstitutionally remove any state governor with just 5 members out of a 27 member State House of Assembly like the previous Pharaoh did....

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

8. "Pharaoh Buhari" has never ordered soldiers to mount up a checkpoint to block a state governor from entering another state like the previous Pharaoh did to Governor Rotimi Amaechi from entering Ekiti state in 2014 to monitor the state's gubernatorial election, and neither has "Pharaoh Buhari" used the SSS or any security agency to detain and prevent any prominent opposition figure from monitoring the Anambra state gubernatorial election in November 2017 (or even any other election) like the previous Pharaoh did against Nasir el-Rufai in Anambra in November 2013, and against other key opposition figures in Osun and Ekiti states elections in 2014....

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

9. "Pharaoh Buhari" has not grounded any helicopter from airlifting any state governor from any State House as the previous Pharaoh did to Governor Adams Oshiomole in 2014, and neither has "Pharaoh Buhari" ordered the sealing of any airport or the grounding of any aircraft billed to carry any opposition politician as the previous Pharaoh did to Governor Amaechi and other opposition politicians between 2013 to early 2015....

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

10. "Pharaoh Buhari" has not ordered the removal of security personnel from any APC elected politician that defected to the PDP or any opposition party as the previous Pharaoh did to even the Speaker of the House of Representatives, state governors and others....

11. "Pharaoh Buhari" has not ordered any batch of security personnel to seal off, and prevent either the Senate President or the Speaker of the House or any principal officer from entering the premises of the National Assembly and to even teargas them as the previous Pharaoh did in November 2014, and neither has "Pharaoh Buhari" gotten any police commissioner to be harassing any state governor like the previous Pharaoh did to Governor Amaechi with one Mbu Joseph Mbu....

12. We have not seen "Pharaoh Buhari" sending a police DPO to go and disrupt the meeting of some five state governors like the previous Pharaoh did to some five state governors who were holding a political meeting alongside other politicians in a governor's residence in Asokoro, Abuja in 2014....

13. Okay, there is no faction in APC but even if a faction were to emerge today, we are not likely to see "Pharaoh Buhari" ordering the police to seal up the headquarters of that APC faction like the previous Pharaoh did to the New PDP headquarters in Maitama, Abuja in 2014....

14. "Pharaoh Buhari" could have chosen to clandestinely arm IPOB terrorists to bomb and destroy the Southeast (if he hates the Southeast as some morons allege) just like the previous Pharaoh did with "Boko Haram" against the north, instead "Pharaoh Buhari" patriotically chose to crush them to allow peace and development to grow in the Southeast....

15. "Pharaoh Buhari" sealed our borders against the importation of rice and other foods that we could grow locally, thereby promoting local production and diverting the huge sums of import to our local farmers which subsequently multiplied their financial resources unlike the previous Pharaohs who allowed the flooding of our markets with such imports, thereby harming the drive for economic diversification and harming the financial opportunities of our farmers....

16. Now, is "Pharaoh Buhari" a wicked Pharaoh when he signed off the contracts for massive road projects across the country, or is he still a wicked Pharaoh when he improved the supply of electricity across the country?

17. Wait! What should we call the Pharaoh who looted and shared trillions of naira of arms funds while terrorists and insurgents were busy bombing, killing, destroying and capturing large swathes of territories within Nigeria? Is "Pharaoh Buhari" such kind of Pharaoh?

18. Hey, wait! Governor Murtala Nyako did not do to Pharaoh Goodluck Jonathan 1% of what a rogue called Governor Ayodele Fayose is doing to "Pharaoh Buhari" today, yet we have not seen "Pharaoh Buhari" deploying billions of naira in cahoots with any other friendly state governors to do anything legal and illegal to impeach Fayose from office the way Pharaoh Jonathan did to Governor Nyako....

19. But wait! If "Pharaoh Buhari" is such a wicked Pharaoh as Femi Fani-Kayode wants to project him, then how come Femi Fani-Kayode is still breathing, moving about and even insulting this Pharaoh with all manner of defamatory words everyday, publicly? Or doesn't he think that a wicked Pharaoh should and could have caused his mysterious disappearance to save Egypt the embarrassing spectacle of a looney wagging his defiled finger against Pharaoh the King, or does Fani-Kayode regard himself as some modern Moses, all fitted and equipped with some great supernatural powers that make him both invisible and invincible?

Hahahahaaaaa..... Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

20. Now.... Now.... Now, I fail to imagine seeing "Pharaoh Buhari" going all out to illegally sack the CBN Governor, harass him, seize his passport and treat him like a common criminal just for simply patriotically blowing the whistle on a massive theft of some $20 billion from the country's oil corporation without as much as querying the female thief that pulled off the theft like the previous Pharaoh did to CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi....

21. Well! Well! Well! Isn't it worthwhile to have a Pharaoh that has successfully put terrorists like Tompolo, Asari Dokubo, Abubakar Shekau and Nnamdi Kanu on the run to rule us, instead of hobnobbing and cuddling with them as a former Pharaoh was doing in the recent past?

Oh, we love this Pharaoh!

I can go on and on and on.... But the underlying truth behind Femi Fani-Kayode's daily frustrations, bitterness, anger, insults and death wishes against President Buhari and his entire family is simply because Femi sees Buhari as the Moses who courageously led the revolution that snatched Nigeria and Nigerians from the gruesome cruelty of the cruel and barbaric Pharaohs that crippled and paralyzed this country for all of 16 years!

Each time Femi Fani-Kayode hungers and thirsts for easy, looted money and finds that it's no longer within his reach, he becomes agitated and angry and then takes it out on President Buhari with insults and death wishes. In other words, whenever you see him ranting that Buhari is a Pharaoh and that he should "let my people go", he actually means that President Buhari should let go of the war on corruption and allow him to enjoy his part of the "Boko Haram" cash that Pharaoh Jonathan looted and shared with him and for which he is currently standing trial!

Any Pharaoh that ruthlessly deals with rogues like Femi Fani-Kayode and also ruthlessly deals with evil groups like IPOB and "Boko Haram" terrorists is a good Pharaoh, like the one who ruled with Joseph and boosted agriculture in Egypt!

Ahhhhhhh..... Nigerian farmers also love this Pharaoh.... He restored their dignity and pride!
