One of the preachings that ministered to me this day was pastor Steven Furtick's preaching on Midnight. He mentioned something that resonated something that was already in my spirit that you can be in darkness but decide to see the light of Christ, looking at your situation in a diifferent light.

I have been in my bondage for so long that i kind of gave of hope that i'd ever be free. But of recent God Has been ministering to me that i don't have to wait until i come out of darkness before i begin to live my life and that God can still meet me where i am. The bible says 'even if i make my bed in the bottom of Hell, God is there' Psalm 139:8

I have decided to not let my circunstance determine my whole life, my whole years, my whole months, my whole weeks, my whole days, my whole moments. This is the day the Lord Has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.

I hope to encourage you that you shouldn't let your darkness determine your day. Rejoice when the sun is shining and dance in the moonlight, when the sun goes down, and have pleasant conversations over candle light dinners

I currently don't have light in my living room and kitchen area because i live alone and can't reach the bulbs (shout out to all the 5*1s out there :-)) But that didn't stop me from getting things done. So if the physical darkness couldn't stop me, why should the spiritual darkness stop me?

And if you are alone just like me, if you don't have anyone to have conversations with over candle light dinners, then light candles and have a bubble bath with a book in your hands
You and i can still have joy in our uncomfortable situations believing that God is there
