Congratulations on your admission to a higher institution.
I know that feeling you had when you checked the admission list and saw your name boldly written in that special number....that moment you screamed!...that feeling of an undergraduate...Congratulations once again. Welcome to 100l. Thank God for you!

Now, you're IN. You are now in a new phase of life and you've got work to do.
School isn't all about things parading yourself as an undergraduate or forming cliques... far from it. You've got responsibilities to attend to, you've got books to read, remember your family is looking up to you.

Now, there is a need for you to clearly define why you're in school, your reason for accepting that admission. What is it you're working towards? What do you want to achieve in these four/five/six years...Where do you see yourself in 4/5 years time?
You must CLEARLY define your goals.
If you're in school to just pass time and date anybody that say he/she loves you, then you're far from Success. Really far. Pls re-prioritize. Why must you waste 4years of your life?

Listen Teenager/Youth, your destiny is too important for you to be distracted. It's just too serious. Not everyone has the opportunity you have today..so use it well.

Now, my little word for you.

-Take your life and stay in school seriously. Don't get carried away by what every other person is doing or what seem to be the style in vogue.
Your destiny is too important. Sit down and use this time wisely. It's only 4 years.

-Take your relationship with Christ seriously.
If you say you're for Christ, pls really be for Him. Strive for Intimacy with Him. Your relationship with Christ cannot be overemphasized.
I remember during my second semester exam where the HolySpirit directed me on what to read and alas, majority of the questions were from that topic! Only Christ could do that!
Also, joining a fellowship would help you spiritually. Let God lead you on that.

-Be mindful of your association. Your association either makes you or mars you. No friend makes you neutral. Friendship is not by force. 'Relate freely but befriend carefully' - Pastor Paul Enenche.
Your association has a large role to play on the quality of your life and your academics. Your friend either helps you grow or diminish the quality of your life. Be wise.

To be continued....
