The people is a reflection of the type of leaders they get.

70% of Nigerians are like the leadership. Some of them have not just had the opportunity to demonstrate their dishonesty, greed, selfishness, corrupt ways and incompetence at the Federal/State level.

If you want to be sincere, you'll see these traits in their little areas of influence. Be it in a local community association, church, mosque, old students association, school students' union/departmental associations, etc

Same story of misappropriation, dishonesty, incompetence in leading, among other traits we see among those in governance positions.

Those doing well in leadership positions at the Federal/State levels are those in the competent and selfless 30% category.

To make Nigeria better, we need to push up the number/percentage of honest, competent and hardworking Nigerians. If we do this, we'll increase the probability of getting good leaders in places of authority. smiley smiley

Before starting at the top, change yourself and all those around you first. And let them too change those around them and let it cascade all around.

This wishful thinking of getting one or two good leaders in place, working with thousands of greedy, dishonest and incompetent folks will not work.

We need a massive National reorientation and enlightenment.

it would be nice to know what ideas you have to make this reorientation possible.
