Nothing to hide so why not.

The thing though is that after my blood has been taken for testing, i will start thinking of all the needles and pins that i have stepped on, or the blades that have cut my hand while i was just playing around. Not usually a nice feeling - then i start praying heavily.

These days EVERYBODY SHOULD GO not only once but REGULARYLY!!!

Whenever it comes to sex I also have to protect myself and my partner.
This means we use condom until [b]both [/b]of us have their test results!!!

I'm more than sure that i have nothing to be scared about, but to be very very honest taking a test does scare me, i don't know why and i know there are lots of people that are scared of going for a test even though they know they're clean.
Guess it lies upstairs (mentally)

That's what i'm talking about. Don't be too sure you're clean just because you know you couldn't have gotten it sexually. Guess that's why i'm a bit scared.

And the fact that when everybody hears someone is HIV positive, the first thing that goes through their mind is "WHAT A LovePeddler"
SEX is just one of the many possible causes

I've seen kids who have it just because their parents had it. Calling them whores will make them feel so bad since it's not their fault.

I know, i feel soo bad and sorry for them too. Being brought into the world like others but having to cover their heads in shame and suffering for something they practically know nothing about.

the earlier you go for the test the better for you. i took the test every 6 months and twice befor i got married and a year later i tested possitive and my husband is negative till date.i had nothing to worry about when i took the test. i know my blood was clean like someone said but to my suprise i was hiv+ so u cant tell with these things anyway im glad i took the test cos i would have still been living with the result of the test i'd done 6months earier not knowing i had the virus already.

it is wise to go for hiv test,but is adviceable to go for councilling before the test,being hiv + have a lot of implication.not only cos it is a life treating disease--knowing u are going to die,but also it sis associated with a lot of stigma and discrination.The truth is early knowledge of been infected will enable u take precautionary measures to protect for further infections ,and to effectively manage the virus so as not to be exceed to the danger point.prevention is however the best solution to the mabance of this disease.

I did mine when i went to the russian consulate last 2 weeks, na [b]NEGATIVE [/b]full the paper, no shaking

i did mine bout 2 months ago it aint easy cos of d tension even if u re sure of u. nothin de happen!

Please get tested, There is nothing shameful in it. I recently got tested during a health physical, I am okay and I am happy I did it, Believe me, it is better to know,

@least to know ur status whether u got it or not. Even if u got it knowing and managing it at the early stage is exteremely important

l remember l did not have much of a choice cause it was compulsory since l was a medical student,l remember l was scared stiff but really its no big deal!
