Yoruba is not afraid of disintegration. I believe they have most to gain better than anyone if it happens. But they also don't want to confront the issues in a militant way. Their condition is much better than most others and militancy will not favour them. So they prefer that others be in the forefront so that head or tail they can swing to any side. If disintegration happens they get their republic otherwise they sustain the status quo.
