Nigerian artistes have introduced some songs that would never be forgotten because of the dance steps that comes with these songs. Nigerians love to dance no doubt. Let’s remind you of those moves.

Galala
Galala dance step was made popular by Daddy Showkey. It was a bit weird, lol, but we loved it.

Suo
Suo dance came in right after Galala dance. Though it didn’t really reign unlike Galala. It was made popular by Mountain black and Mad melon also known as the Danfo drivers.

Makossa
Known in Nigeria as makossa, it is actually based on the Congolese soukous. It was made popular in Nigeria following an influx of Francophone songs by Koffi Olomide, Awilo Longomba and others in the late nineties and early noughties. One may argue that popular dance steps that followed the makossa craze were inspired by it.
