CONCLUDED PLANS BY DR. SANUSI MOMODU JIMAH TO DEMOTE AND REDEPLOY STAFF USING THE GOVERNING COUNCIL AS ROBOTS: AN ABSURDITY AND PERSONAL VENDETTA.

The concept of management as a going concern entity is not being and has never been adhered to by the “supposed” Acting Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah as he is threatening fire and brimstone to upturn decisions already taken and approved/ratified by previous Councils on behalf of the Hon. Minister in the absence of council.
Apart from the fact that he is on a personal vendetta, his ineptitude and lack of experience in the management of both human and material resources, is also very much responsible for his cluelessness and autocratic style of leadership.

It is indeed an aberration and absurdity for an illegally appointed Acting Rector over two (2) sitting Deputy Rectors, who was neither a Dean, Director nor a Departmental Head, to cajole council into upturning decisions already taken, approved/ ratified by previous councils, or the Expanded Management Committee(EMC) in the absence of council, on behalf of the Honourable Minister.

LOPSIDEDNESS AND MALPRACTICES IN DR. SANUSI JIMAH’S CONVERSION FROM A PRINCIPAL INSTRUCTOR TO LECTURER 1

It is pertinent and quite imperative to note that the same Jimah Sanusi Momodu, who is now faulting the process or procedures through which some staff were either converted, upgraded, promoted and employed is also a major beneficiary of breach or lack of due process.
Dr. Sanusi Momodu Jimah in 1999, applied to be converted from the rank of a principal instructor to senior Lecturer, knowing fully well that the law stipulates that applicants must possess a masters degree before he/she deemed qualified and can be invited to for interview and subsequent conversion from Principal Instructor to Senior Lecturer. His highest qualification as at that time was a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in urban and Regional Planning, which he obtained from Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi.
He later obtained a Masters Degree in 2008, Nine (9) years later and that was when he was qualified for conversion. He was mistakenly invited for the interview but failed to score at least fifty (50) marks which is the minimum required score for qualified applicants to be converted from a principal instructor to Senior Lecturer.
Abinitio, Jimah was not qualified/eligible to be invited for the interview, yet failed even though he was mistakenly invited

HIS EVENTUAL CONVERSION VIA THE BACKDOOR
Surprisingly, Jimah succeeded in financially inducing the panel into bending the rules as they changed the goal post just to ensure that he was converted either through hook or crook. His application for conversion to senior Lecturer from Principal Instructor and the interview he failed coupled with his ineligibility abinitio, were jettisoned, discarded and undermined by the panel as he was illegally converted from Principal Instructor to Lecturer I, even though he never applied for such or qualified /interviewed for such.
This goes to show that he was fraudulently converted in a lopsided and absurd manner as due process was not followed.

JIMAH SHOULD LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND DEMOTE HIMSELF FIRST OVER THE LOPESIDEDNESS AND FLAWS IN HIS 1999 CONVERSION PROCESS.

If his administration and his robots (council) can question the integrity and processes already carried out and approved by previous councils or previous Hon. Ministers of Education, then his conversion process of 1999 should be rendered null and void. The implication and penalty for such malpractice, corruption and absurdity is that he should be demoted from Chief Lecturer to a Principal Lecturer as what is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

The ministry of Education, the Ant-graft agencies and other stakeholders should as a matter of urgency, beam searchlights on this rape of due process. He therefore has no moral justification to recommend staff for demotion and or redeployment from classroom on grounds of alleged or perceived breach of due process in their conversion, upgrading, employment and promotion when he is a product of breach of due process both in his conversion to Lecturer cadre and his appointment as Acting Rector.
Staff may not hesitate to seek legal redress courts of competent jurisdiction which may have an adverse effect on the institution.

HIS CULPABILITY OVER CULT RELATED ACTIVITIES: 3RD JULY, 1999.

He was issued a query by the then Registrar of Institution, F.I. Ogunbor on grounds of his involvement in cult related activities on campus during the 3rd July, 1999 cult clash as he was found culpable. His response to the query was found unsatisfactory by the panel.
Seven (7) years later, he requested for clearance in writing via a letter dated 22nd June 2006. Within this period he was promoted twice, 2001 and 2005 respectively.

This is an absurdity in the civil service as his culpability which amounts to gross misconduct, being a criminal offence was supposed to be processed through the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee (SSDC) for onward transmission to the Governing Council to either dismiss or terminate his appointment. The 2001 and 2005 promotions are therefore questionable and should be revisited.

SIMULTANEOUS COLLECTION OF MASTERS DEGREE AND PhD ADMISSION LETTER ON SAME DAY AND DATE.

He collected his Masters Degree notification of result on the 27th March, 2008, which was effective on 26th March, 2008. In the same vein, he was allegedly issued admission letter to undergo a PhD programme on same day and date being 27th March, 2008. This is highly questionable.

QUESTIONABLE PhD CERTIFICATE
From a very reliable source in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Jimah allegedly obtained his PhD certificate in less than three years from the institution, this period recorded a loss of over one session in the entire University, both at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.
It might interest all and sundry to note that no post graduate students admitted in 2008 graduated earlier than 2013 due to the crisis and other related issues which bedeviled the institution between 2008 and 2013. The records are very verifiable
Assuming he did this programme on full time basis while he was also a full time academic staff of Auchi Polytechnic, can we conclude that he was ubiquitous and omnipresent? It is pertinent also to note that he never wrote to inform or seek approval for the programme from management under any guise. By implication the programme was never approved and therefore not recognized if he actually obtained the certificate.
These are verifiable from the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. The days of impunities are over as we watch the Council, the Ministry of Education and the Anti-graft agencies to unravel this.
