ceaser: I'm looking into buying the Hisense TV but B8000UW, haven't seen anyone use it around. How is their TV fairing and the Vidaa U OS? Do you receive any update of any kind? Still use it or bought another? If yes to the latter, why did you? |

having issue with my TV, it goes off and on at will sometimes it goes off for says.tech told me its the power IC.

makjo900:I'm not sure if my model is B8000UW How is their TV fairing and the Vidaa U OS? TV is doing fine so far, zero issues going to two years now. The VidaaU OS has not shown any kind of freezing. It comes pre-installed with You tube, Facebook, Netflix (which I use actively), web browser and a few other apps which I can't recall now. You can access more apps thru their store which isn't anything close to Google app store in terms of content. Their app market has few apps (news, weather and VOD apps). The remote control comes with one click buttons for Netflix and YouTube. Logging in to Netflix is different from my experience with LG webOS and Infinix TV android both of which require actual login with email and password like you would do on a Web page, but for the VidaOS Netflix will only require you to enter a code generated on your Netflix profile accessed thru the web in order to add the TV as your device. Do you receive any update of any kind?I've not received a single update till now, not even a notification of any kind although I have not had it connected online in about 5 months now. This is unlike my experience with LG webOS where there was an update within 2 years. Still use it or bought another? If yes to the latter, why did you? I still use it, still going strong. And even though I would love an upgrade but I don't know if I'll wanna do that anytime soon cos it's a 65 inch UHDTV future proof, and any upgrade to higher size will mean increase demand on my solar power (I'm solely on solar). Which reminds me. My experience is that use of solar removes the possibility of these appliances failing early from power surges. Power surges is rare with solar inverters but common with NEPA/PHCN, something which may explain the 2 years trouble free duration of use of the TV. So if you use PHCN you might wanna keep in mind to purchase a surge protector along with the TV. I recently bumped into their Android app viidaOS app which lets you control the TV and launch apps via your android phone. But from the use so far, they're not there yet with the app, still a work in progress with bugs, although some claim trouble free use of the app with the year 2020 versions/products of their TV. But I'd say I enjoy using the Infinix TV android phone app better. |

Good evening GRACEGLORY.. Please I need your urgent help. I bought a tv this week, a 24" syinix tv. Since I bought the tv it has been showing me No Signal. I've bought 3 different AV cables but it's not helping. I made sure I plugged the red, yellow and white well.. I would have tried HDMI cable but my GOtv decoder doesn't have it. The USB isn't even opening. Please HELP ME!!! �����

GRACEGLORY: I second the bolded. You should be good to go since you just got it, it should still be within warranty period. Do not try any repairs on it else you void the waranty. I hope it was procured from walk in stores and not online malls. |

Kingstonfresh: This is one of the problems of purchasing these stuffs from online malls. You won't have the luxury of testing it to satisfaction before procurement. That notwithstanding, returning it is your best bet as it is pointing towards a factory defect. Return it, demand for a functional replacement or they give you a full refund. |

ceaser: Could you please help me check the model of yours? I'm a bit skeptical about the VidaaU OS but the webOS is one hell of a sweet OS. i intend using Nvidia Sheild so i guess i woudln't feel much of the dullness of the VidaaU if i eventually buy Hisense. It's a shame that updates are sent to their TVs, not even firmware OS letalone OS update. I have the surge connected to the socket which i use with my Samsung TV presently. Please I need help. I bought this UKA TV less than 6 months ago. I was watching tv on Sunday and the screen froze the. Switched off. The tv has refused to turn on till now. Please does anyone know uka service center or number or know what I can do. I use a surge protector so I don’t know what could have caused it. I’ve attached the pictures.

MotunrayoA: Is it Android TV? If yes, it may be one of those android system freeze thingy. I've twice or trice experienced some necessary/forced resets following some stuck/unavailable menu on an android TV I have, a strategy which usually brings things back to normal. Please contact their customer service to get it addressed. |

Good day I have hisense backlight tv, I notice on 2 occasion the tv went off by itself of which I on it with remote, but this very day it went off,I can't on it,but the red light indicator is showing. I left it for about 2weeks to know whether it will on,but all to no avail. I even did tv reset process, still not oning/displaying. I later took it to local repairer, which inform me that I should change the entire board after he has tested it with another board which was displaying. I decline to change it after much equity. So pls What's your advise Any person using hisense tv experience this with solutions? |

Hello all. I need help with my Samsung UE55HU7200 Curved 4K TV which recently auto-updated to the latest software version. It continued working well for a few days then started boot-looping (restarting) after every 20 seconds and showing the Smart TV logo only. I also hear a click from the power board when it goes off. While on, it does not respond to input from the remote or the button at the back. I've visited the technicians around me and they recommended a new board but being a little IT savvy I followed some instructions online to reset the eeprom. After opening it up and shorting the SDA and VCC pins, the TV remains on indefinitely but does not respond. Upon power off, it reverts to its 20 second boot-loop. There might be some other issue asides the eeprom but i'm at a loss to what to check next. I also disconnected the wifi card (and bluetooth too) as some others had luck doing that due to excess power draw by those components but mine had no effect. Any tips? |
