Fast on its heels is the Mate 10 Porsche, set to be released in mid-Febraury. The Mate 10 Porsche revs up specs a bit, while adding some class, and a whole lot of price, at $1,225.

While the screens of these two devices are nearly identical in size, the Porsche swaps in a 1080p OLED display, replacing the 1440p LCD of the Mate 10 Pro.

Both packing the lauded Kirin 970 flagship chipset, the Mate 10 Porsche offers two more gigs of RAM and ups the storage to 256 GB.

Aside from this, the Mate 10 Porsche comes in a new color, named Diamond Black. The color looks good and the spec bump is appreciable, but will consumers opt for a device that costs over $400 more than its all-too-similar sibling? The Mate 10 Porsche joins the Huawei Watch 2 Porsche Design -- a near $1000 watch -- as another premium-looking, high-priced device, inspired by Porsche luxury.
