The management of notable African music channel, Trace, has denied allegations that it demands money to play videos on its channels, revealing its music video selection criteria to the public. The company, which operates in about 50 countries and runs five-channel brand – Trace Naija, Trace Mziki, Trace Urban, Trace Africa and Trace Toca, says Trace does not charge for video submission or airplay.
