“How I Lost N1.2billion To Fake Pastor” – Ex -Super Eagles Midfielder Reveals

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Wilson Oruma, has suffered a relapse of the emotional disorder that bugged him six years ago after he was defrauded by a clergy man and some fake oil businessmen, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Oruma, also the Golden Eaglets’ 1993 FIFA U-17 World Cup winning captain, was lured into a fake oil business in December 2012 in which he invested a whopping sum of N1.2billion without proper consultation after retiring from football.‎ And he consequently lost the investment.

“Wilson (Oruma) hasn’t really recovered from the emotional disorder which he suffered after he was duped,” his bossom friend Emakpor Dibofun revealed.

“He has been to several places in search of a lasting solution, but it gets worse after a bit of improvement.”

A former Nigeria international and former Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Waidi Akanni, also added that plans by Oruma’s ex teammates to help resuscitate him to normal life is ongoing.

“We have contacted some of his colleagues whom he played with during his days at the national team and there have been positive news regarding what we are trying to do,”Akanni told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“But nothing more I can discuss publicly just yet, but he needs help.

“We just pray all goes well, so we can help him out of this precarious situation.”

Oruma featured for Nigeria’s U-17, U-23 and the senior national team, winning the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1993, the Olympic gold in 1996 and two bronze medals at the African Cup of Nations in 2002 and 2006.

At club level, Oruma starred for RC Lens, Nancy, Samsunspor, Nimes, Servette, Sochaux, Marseille and Guingamp, and Kavala FC of Greece before he retired at the age of 33 on November 26, 2010.

Pastors have been stealing from the gullible since Christianity came to Nigeria.

Nevertheless, this guy is the source of stupidity for loosing such outrageous amount to anyone. He should be given an award.

He was duped by 419 and not any Pastor! You people just like attacking Pastors....Any mad man could claim to be a Pastor and scam demented fellow like him.

Test all Spirit says the bible but since they aren't spiritual nor have any relationship with God, they can be scammed by scammers claiming to be Pastors.

Nah. You lost 1.2billion because you refused to use your God given sense. Is your pastor am accountant ? Is he a financial adviser? I'm not against giving oh but when it comes to business matters, your pastor should be excluded . The only role he has in your business matters is to pray for you.

I cringed when I read the story this morning. It's baffling how one can lose such amount of money in the blink of an eye. Truly money has wings....

Common sense will make anyone figure that whosoever defrauded Oruma used the character of a pastor to have his/her way just like those yahoo boys on Facebook masquerading as custom officers and claiming they have tons of cars for sale.

anybody way pastor chop maga na odoyor. God does not need money for anything. If pastor can not only preach and pray he should leave it. any pastors asking for money please withdraw. they ask for this money in many forms. get sense abeg my people.

notwitstanding, the things hausa muslims day do bad well well o. people are dying o.

this government no care about the dead o because they are Christians. on January 1st little girls were raped in the north in the church and a man was killed while others were beaten an injured. today that is history.

after that 75 people were also killed in Benue. that one also became history.
this is just the 12th day of this year. many other unreported attacks are going on against Christians and no one is talking. the people we call pastors and daddies do no care about us o. they keep quiet while little hausa boys go ahead slaughtering Christians.
they pretend as if they do not know what is happening but they are fully aware.
this is organized crime against Christians oh. Make una open una eyes oh. take a clue from the middle east and Sudan and see how they have cleansed those placed of Christians and non-muslims.

At its peak, between 1930 and 1950 the Jewish community in Sudan numbered between 500 and 1000 people. In 1956 Sudan gained independence and hostility towards the Jewish Community began to grow.[4] From 1957 many members of the community began to leave Sudan for Israel (via Greece), America and other European countries - primarily Britain and Switzerland. In 1967 after the Six Day War anti-Semitic attacks began to appear in Sudanese newspapers, advocating the murder and torture of prominent Jewish Community leaders.[4] By 1970 almost all of the Jewish community had left Sudan.

In 1977 an air-transfer of a few human remains from the Jewish Cemetery in Khartoum was organised by several prominent members of the community and reburial was arranged in Jerusalem. As of 2005 there were at least 15 Jewish graves left in the Jewish Cemetery at Khartoum.[5] However, in recent years even these have been desecrated and the site was used as a dumping ground for used car parts. In the last year efforts have been made to preserve and clean up the cemetery.[6] The site of the much older Jewish Cemetery in Omdurman is unknown. The Synagogue was sold and demolished in 1986 and a bank now occupies the site.

Very soon dem go wipe us all oh. make una wake up oh. Benue is the link between the North and the east. after benue na the full east dem go enter oh.
