I think you too generalistic. Not all churches allow their pastors to own private jets. It all boils down to the structure of the church. Owning a private jet isn't bad as many people see it. It is very easy to condemn from outside until you are inside. The jet are used for church programs especially when the pastors need to get to different locations the same day. The cost in waiting to book ticket and other logistics are saved. However, it is possible for a pastor to be payroll. The essence is to curtail their excesses since many are living extravagant lifestyles. Many churches do place their pastors on payroll. To me it is the best thing to do but your pastor must be comfortable. At least he should be able to cater for the needs of his family. Many churches lack good structures that is why their pastors behave as they lack. Thank God for most orthodox churches and catholic church were structures are in place. This is lacking in many Pentecostal churches because their founders are the boss in charge.

I honestly don't see any reason why private jets should be procured. Are they preaching in heaven? How many numbers of engagement do they have in a month or year? Do you know how much is the cost of maintaining the jets? Do you know the cost of keeping the jets in a hangars per day? All these resources can be used in starting a small factory that can feed 50,000 people directly or indirectly.

Will you agree with me that even with high rising numbers of churches and pastors daily, immorality is on the increase among Nigerians and among the pastors also. Poverty is multiplying on daily basis, the aim of having men of God in our society is defeated. Witches and immoral dressing in our churches is on the rise nothing is done.

The rise in churches is because of God's plan for the church. Poverty has no relationship with the growth of the church. Many churches are spring forth because of the following
1. Break away
2. Many churches had deviated so God is raising new ones that would dish the undiluted word of God
Immoral dressing is on the increase because we are in perilous times. Many preachers are after money,fame and power so they are fulfilling Bible prophecy. Haven't you wonder why
