Boko Haram kills three in Adamawa as Reps visit Buratai
The Boko Haram insurgents have struck the Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State , killing three persons and injuring two others in a village identified as Pallam.
Our correspondent learnt that the Boko Haram fighters , said to be in large numbers , came on motorcycles and attacked the village, during which many of the residents were displaced .

This is just as the House of Representatives’ Committee on the Army visited the Chief of Army Staff, Lt . Gen . Tukur Buratai, on Tuesday at the Army Headquarters, Abuja, to review the efforts on the counter- insurgency and other operations .
The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen . Sani Usman , who confirmed the visit on Tuesday, had yet to disclose the resolutions of the meeting as of press time .
“The committee was on its oversight function visit to the army headquarters, ” Usman said .
According to the Agence France - Presse , a community leader in Pallam in the Madagali LGA confirmed the Boko Haram attack on Tuesday, noting that the terrorists stormed the village at about 11 .30 pm on Monday .
Maina Ularamu , a former Madagali Local Government Chairman , said the insurgents came to loot food materials from the village.
He said , “ Five people were victims of the attack: three were killed and two were critically injured and taken to a hospital . There is no doubt the attackers came from Sambisa. We experience such periodic attacks from Boko Haram , who usually look for food .”
The former chairman noted that a security guard at a clinic was also killed after the Boko Haram fighters had looted the facility .
A resident, David Maigrai , said , “ They burnt several shops and many homes. They also stole food . On their way out of the village, they ran into some vigilance group members on a patrol in Kuda village, who engaged them in a shootout and killed two of the attackers
One of the victims was a shopkeeper who was sleeping inside his shop and refused to open the door to the jihadists . He was reportedly burnt in the building
