Exactly. Investigative journalism is a risky field in Nigeria. The likes of Sowore play it safe. When Sowore established an office of sort in Nigeria, Soyinka told him that he had made himself open to easy arrest but Sowore was quick to assure the prof. that he would still be operating largely from the US. Even mainstream journalism is risky in Nigeria (and Africa by extension), let alone, investigative journalism.

I reside in Ibadan and I know her. She never had any cash before or after prison. She lives in her family house and she's been fed. Her mother gives her money to buy data that she uses to bully people online. So she really didn't have to beg until she went to prison and things weren't what it used to. No more free meal and data from home. But mind you, this is not the first time Kemi would be begging online. Most of you just started hearing about her few years ago. Some of us have known Kemi for decades. This is someone that is well over 50. She had nothing of her own before. Just a privileged background.
