Chelsea are ready to move for Roma striker Edin Dzeko.

Chelsea are preparing a bid for West Ham centre-forward Andy Carroll.

Premium Sport says, however, they could turn their attention to Dzeko.

It is said the Blues have enquired about the Bosnian's availability but have not yet lodged a formal offer.

The report goes on to suggest Roma would not allow their striker to leave this month. But that stance could change depending on whether Chelsea come back with a reasonable offer.

Dzeko is not the only Roma player Chelsea are chasing with the report going on to repeat their interest in Emerson Palmieri.
