The 25-year-old forward met Beckham, who played 10 times for PSG in 2013, on the front row at a Louis Vuitton event.

Sporting a hair-band, a Louis Vuitton beige jumper and a striking chrome jacket, the world’s most expensive player looked the part as he mixed with Europe’s biggest fashion influencers.

Neymar has regularly hit the headlines since his £198m world-record move from Barcelona to PSG in the summer.

The PSG star had even more reason to enjoy his time off at the event as his performance against Dijon saw him become only the second player in Ligue 1 history to earn a perfect 10 rating from L’Equipe.

Brazil’s captain is joined in the history books by fellow Brazilian Carlos Eduardo who was awarded top marks for his part in Nice’s 7-2 win over Guingamp back in 2014.

PSG and Neymar will begin preparations on Friday for their top-of-the-table clash with Lyon on Sunday at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
