Benue Corp Member Shot By Unknown Gunmen Seeks N170,000 For Surgery -

For Ogbu Sunday Garuba, a young Corper who hail from Otonkon in Ado Local government of Benue state and currently serving in Nasarawa state, and is the most difficult time of his life.
The young Corp member is a victim of a dreaded attack suspected to be fulani herdsmen. Doctors fear he may die if an urgent surgery to remove about 4 bullets lodged inside his body is not done immediately.
According to his doctors, he has one bullet at the back of his head, one at his back that affected his ribs close to his heart
The doctors have put the bill for his surgery at N170,000. Unfortunately, the family of Sunny, as he is called by friends are unable to foot his bills. His mother, a petty trader is sick and aged.
He lost his younger brother who is a 400 level student of microbiology at the federal university Lafia in the same attack which he is currently struggling to survive.

The Corp member had quickly travelled home during the Christmas period after he received an emergency call from the village that his mother’s ailment had aggravated.
He narrated that as he and his younger brother sat outside their home in the village, a group of unknown gunmen on motorcycle opened fire on them, killing his younger brother on the spot.
It was gathered that the sad incidence took place on 24, December by 4.p.m. It was on a market day, the gunmen wearing face masked, had reportedly attacked the market and opened fire killing so many and leaving many injured.
It was from the market that they came to the spot where Sunny and others were sitting and opened fire.
Sunny needs the assistant of good spirited Nigerians to come to his aid.
