It is very true that Garri (which I call Cassava Flakes), have being saving lives since time immemorial.
Nevertheless, its prolonged sustainance cant be overshadow the fact that alot of Ijebu Garri that we consume is badly processed and prepared.
Carry out this experiment:
Get a bowl of water.
Put 2 or 3 handful of Ijebu Garri in it.
Wait for 30 seconds before you eat.
As you eat, a time comes where you will see grains of fine sand at the bottom of the plate.
In a nutshell, stop drinking IJEBU GARRI, it contains particles of fine sand.
If U want to continue eating it, please dont eat to the bottom.
Some lovers of Ijebu Garri, once the Garri gets to the bottom, they bring up the plate and remove the spoon, turn the water and small garri together before gulping it.
This fine sand builds up in the body system and causes harm in the future.
DRINK IJEBU GARRI RESPONSIBLY.
BETTER STILL, EMBRACE YELLOW GARRI.
For me, it is goodbye to IJEBU GARRI & THE SAND PARTICLES.
