Due to the tensions and agitations in the country, Nigeria cannot afford to break forcefully to prevent full scale war. However, if the country is to break constitutionally, what are the procedures and it takes how many months to achieve this?. Will the United Nations be involved in the separation?

Procedure for breakup:

1. The constitution has to be amended to accommodate that first.

2. A motion has to be raised in the National Assembly for a breakup (No balls yet).

3. If the Ayes is greater than the Nays, then A referendum will be called for based on point 1 with UN in notice.

4. People can now vote for or against

5. If successful, to your tent oh yea Israel

But i strongly doubt Nigeria can breakup with the crop of politicians we have especially when it favours them.

My humble view...
