BY CHIDI NKWOPARA OWERRI — For fears that they might be members of the dreaded Boko Haram, Imo State government, weekend, sent back to Katsina about 84 persons.

The deportees, mainly youths, had been in Imo State for eight days under-going skill acquisition training when the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state raised an alarm that they might be Boko Haram insurgents. The young Muslims, who had spent about eight days in the state, were quartered in the premises of Imo Newspapers Limited, on Egbu Road, Owerri, which is now renamed “Imo College of Advanced Professional Studies, ICAPS.” A security man on guard in the premises, who spoke on strict grounds of anonymity, explained that government had no other option than to send them safely back home.

“The alarm by PDP raised palpable fears that people could descend on the innocent students. Government had to cut short their training and sent them back to their state,” the man said. Speaking to inquisitive journalists in Owerri, the Director General of ICAPS, Mr. David Day, confirmed that the establishment trained youths on skills and leadership programmes. “We do not train miscreants, criminals and members of Boko Haram in ICAPS. We had to cut short the training of 84 literate youths from Katsina State, as a result of the alarm, which obviously put their lives in danger,” Mr. Day said.

Fulani youths undergoing advanced professional studies in Imo State? Could it be on sculpturing or on cattle colony establishment? I think only Rochas knows the mission and what his cousins have come study.
I advise they should come back and finish their course after 2019 when Bubu is out of office.

Was adequate investigation carried out?

If, why didn't they hand them over to the appropriate Authorities like DSS?

I expect Peter Adaobi to come cry out in defense of the constitutional right of these Northerners.

These are youths who are even engaged and known to be undergoing training, yet they were relocated for the intended good of Imo state.

Same Peter Adaobi who had earlier in his own administration, relocated Ebonyi and Akwa Ibom destitute miscreants to their state of origin, cried foul like a baby and even went to report to Jonathan as if he was an appointed military administrator of President Gen Jonathan, when Fashola did same thing peter Adaobi had done by relocating destitute miscreants to Anambra state.

Lagos state was able to show documentary evidence that it had already communicated to Anambra state that it had miscreant indigenes in Lagos state who were under the care of the government and were to be returned to Anambra.

Same Lagos state had already returned after rehabilitation, similar miscreants found living under the bridges without a home address, to the North and Osun and Ondo states, without any uproar from the receiving states.

Fashola did what was good for Lagos, as Peter Adaobi had done what was good for Anambra, yet Adaobi wailed when he found himself at the receiving end.

Now IMO state has been forced by PDP's deliberate anarchy propaganda, to do what is right for IMO. It is my hope that when Abia state finds itself on the receiving end of what is right for Kaduna, Ohaneze would not suddenly start playing the worn out cassette tape of marginalization.

If you could read at all, you will understand that those educated Northern youths did not come to IMO state on their own accord.

They were invited to come undergo some training at a recognized state training center.

PDP started their anarchy propaganda in the state, and the government had to take a decision to abort their training for the safety of those responsible and educated Northerners who have been put in danger by PDP politics.

You're clearly a f@Ql. What kind of training are they undergoing and why Imo state? How did you arrive labelling them educated northerners? You probably might be one of the terrorists or their E-agent, otherwise no sane individual who would not know that those people are clearly on assignment in connection with their stooge in Imo state government house. Thanks to those who raised the alarm. Okoroawusa trying so hard to infiltrate Imo state with his terrorists cousins.

You see your miserable life for public?

Now answer this question. What education are the teeming Igbo kids undergoing in the many public schools in the North and why Kaduna or Kano state?

Later your fellow Igbos will claim your tribe is accommodating, but other Nigerians just don't want to visit the East.

Who will visit the East when hostile minds like yours are in the majority, yet all of you have family making a living in other parts of Nigeria.

It is your own right to move freely in the country, but others don't have such rights so you ask why IMO and what kind of training educated Northerners are looking for in Imo.?

By the time you would have answered the question below, you would understand how irrelevant and senseless your above assertions are.

If you have one particular kind of snake which is clearly inimical to you and your people and have bitten most of your villagers to death and the Chief in your community went to bring a similar snakes to be roaming within your household where you have your little children and relations, what would be your reaction as a concerned father of the house?

So you are no longer arguing that they are not educated Northerners who came with full support of the Imo state government?

I am fulfilled that even you have now been educated to read the news before challenging those who actually read it.

To answer your question, when your kin decide to leave your village to go dwell and prosper in the land that is owned by those snakes, do you conduct a funeral ceremony for them, seeing that they are foolishly heading to certain danger?

When they send back home the kind of money they never carried with them while departing, do you reject such monies knowing it came from their snake customers and patrons?

The kind of ethnic and religious propaganda PDP employed in the South prior to 2015 as seen in this news report, is what hurt it badly in the North in 2015.

To cut the story short, the same PDP has zoned its ticket for the 2019 presidency to the North.
