Players and officials of MFM FC escaped death on Sunday after their bus had an accident on their way back from a Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) game in Jos against Plateau United. The Media Officer of MFM FC, Olawale Quadri who confirmed the mishap on Sunday said that the team was safe and sound after the accident at Akungba, Ondo State. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Olukoya Boys, however, lost the Match Day 5 fixtures of the NPFL on Saturday to the Jos outfit by a lone goal courtesy of a second-minute strike by Tosin Omolyele.
