American rapper, JAY-Z was completely shut out at the 60th annual Grammy Awards, winning zero out of the eight ( awards for which he was nominated.

The rapper’s album 4:44 which was nominated for Best Rap Album, lost out to Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic at the ceremony.

The title track was nominated for Best Rap Performance and Song of the Year, while his Beyoncé collab “Family Feud” was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, “The Story of O.J.” and was up for Best Rap Song, Best Music Video, and Record of the Year.

However, Kendrick Lamar took home all of the rap awards, while Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” beat out JAY-Z’s “4:44” for Song of the Year and “24K Magic” beat out “The Story of O.J.” for Record of the Year.
