Does cell phones have a RAM jus like PC or is it just internal memory cos there's this application i was trying to download to my phone recently and one of the requirements was a 512kb SDRAM.So do phones have a RAM to run applications and if so how does one get to know the RAM size of a mobile? |

smartphones do have RAM. feature phoes dont as the OS and feature apps run from within the EPROM/EEPROM so long as feature applications are embedded in the firmware. however there's something like a cache memory in most feature phones to support java. |
