HON. BEN ROLLAND IGBAKPA: THE MAN FOR THE JOB

The above wisecrack depict accurately the strategic place of the import of the combined effects of skill/competence, diligence and suitability on service delivery, and why, over time, sages have always place due diagonal, these criteria in their choice of those to put in strategic places in lieu of effective community service. In far more ways than one, the above wisecrack, just as its import, refers to Hon. Ben Rolland Igbakpa, former member, Delta state House of Assembly, representing, Ethiope West Constituency, civil commissioner, administrator, politician, community leader and great husband and father.

Hon. Ben Rolland Igbakpa, a political enigma, the masses favourite, political sought- after, crowd-puller, strategist and systems analyst was called upon to still hold the baton of power ''to represent Ethiopians in Green Chamber 2019' because they were thrilled, fulfilled and satisfied with his style of leadership prowess, while he was a civil Commissioner and member of the Delta State House of Assembly.

Again, as the man at the helm of affairs, he proved his mettle, thus, walking his way seamlessly into the hearts of Ethiopians who saw him as a gifted leader not a self-styled one. With the cooperation of his teeming supporter's and followers who were all delighted to work with him, he brought to bear his astute leadership qualities as a conducive atmosphere was created for him to work, all arising from his non-draconic leadership, his sense of humour, ability to tolerate and spirit of cooperation that was (and still) well embedded in him.

Hon. Ben Rolland Igbakpa saturated not only his constituency, Ethiope West with empowerment while as civil commissioner, he also spread his spirit of love beyond his immediate environment by empowering others in the state. He never allow ethnic consideration to becloud his sense of reasoning. His crystal-clear style of leadership was appreciated by all those imbued with a sense of purpose and truth like him.

Apart from individuals that were empowered at his time, several roads were either rehabilitated and tarred completely. The educational sector was not left out as several schools were provided with basic amenities. He elevated many trapped in pit of poverty by providing financial assistance to them to start up trade and hand work.

Today, his teeming supporters, political faithfuls and admirers are calling on him to start dusting the grounds of Ethiope Federal Constituency

Speaking of his antecedents, Comrade Clinton Onoride Sagboje, said, the people wanted him as a result of his pedigree as somebody you can trust to make things happen and put things right. Now that we know his next political plan, his teeming supporters are anxiously waiting to see him in Abuja 2019.

We are here for him any day, anytime, anywhere. As our principal, we are enjoying him and his good job. He is the only man that is accessible to us. Others entered office and abandon their people. Hon Ben is a different personality, a leader that is always to listen to your plight, offer advice and proffering solutions. Life is not all about money as some political leaders often misconstrue the presence of people that comes around them with coming to beg for money. It is quite obvious that any time he says he is running for any elective position, signals the beginning of his victory notwithstanding where he pitches his tent.”

Also speaking in the same vein, Mr. Lucas Onorigho, from Ethiope West, said when a path is good you follow it for the second time. “That is how I see it in the case of Hon. Ben Rolland Igbakpa. One is his level of efficacy and finesse that reflects all over him. He is not known for non-performance as he always has the capacity to deliver. As a fast rising politician, he is seen as a pilot light for any politician gunning for other highly-pitched positions. In his case, clannish consideration does not hold water because he is seen as a man of the people, loved by many for his wholesome and unassuming stance.

Any time he is coming out we are sure to follow him. But what I want to advice this time is for him to know those truly working for him. There are some greedy, two-face individuals working for different candidates just to garner much money without having any person in mind they are supporting. This I will like him to strongly guild against because some will come as fake supporters whose aim will be to collect money and start backsliding. If he cannot personally observe this, I believe his true followers will.

Comrade Ezekiel Ojabugbe from Ethiope West said Igbakpa stands a better chance of launching himself to the next political level, his interest to run because of his laudable achievements when he first served as a member of the State House of Assembly, he showed the humanitarian services imbued in him by helping to empower many, added structures to existing ones in schools, maintained roads that are not in good condition, built school and made some people mobile by providing them with vehicles, even some vigilante groups benefitted. He also provided for many helpless widows aside the many youths who gained from him through trainings. He is only one man that gives without grudges, what I always referred to among other benefactors, as grudgeless giver.Our concern is to see him in Abuja 2019.

Comrade Allen Adjoshoke, said without mincing words that Hon. Ben Rolland Igbakpa remains a force to reckon with not only in Ethiope West and East but the entire state, saying that there is the need to up his ante by daring the top, becoming a political centripetal.

I want to appeal to fellow party members and Ethiopians to give Hon. Igbakpa all the support he need succeed as his success will not only be for the good of party members but for the generality of Ethiope Federal Constituency.

I pray that God gives this Spinoza of our time long life and more prosperity so that he can be there for people like us to emulate and come out better citizens, said Comrade Adjoshoke.
