Nigeria is in its present state because of Godfatherism. If the masses voted for you to represent and govern them then you should be accountable to the masses and not to one old wicked criminal. I still commend Chris Nwabueze Ngige, Peter Obi even Willy Obiano for the end of Godfathers in Anambra State.

one of the few sensible comments on relating to this post. the Igbo's don't believe in godfatherism. governors are voted in by the people not one godfather. the only reason why governors in the west pay homage to tinubu is because he manipulated them into power, not through populist decision. if we are to use this illogical myopic thought by uwazurike, Okezie ikpeazu is still loyal to t.a orji why because t.a orji rigged him into power. take it or leave it apart from orji and Rocha's okoroacha every other governor in the east were voted by the people.
