There is no greater sycophant who seek the President's favour than the governor of Kogi State.

*He declared a public holiday when the president returned to the country from London where he went to treat himself when even Katsina state where the president came from and the federal government the President heads didn't.
*He was one of the governors who went to tell the President to contest for second term while Benue was burying over seventy victims of Fulani killings.
*He is now giving his state out to cattles so that cattles can colonise Kogi people.

Well,so much for a young governor. Yahaya Bello, una well done.

Permit me to share this post on my social media space but reference to you. We still have some sound minded Nigerians

When you look at the attitude of this Kogi Governor, you cannot but exercise some level of fear about having young people runs the affairs of this country.

He just ignored all the red lights around this cattle colony kind of a thing!

Please who are his advisers?

I believe his action is in tandem with the yearning of his people otherwise the people should resist maximally until they have their land back.

I believe they will have a very strong argument!

They are too blind with ethnic hatred and bigotry to appreciate and therefore key into the venture which would add economic value to their state along with additional job opportunities for the youths down the value chains.
I hope the president quickly goes ahead and implements the program leaving out the ignorant ones rejecting now out of spite and hatred to later have no reason cry marginalisation but only regret for their lack of foresight.
let the beautiful idea start from kastina,if its that good they would have sited it in their areas like they do with their appointments ,but this one has ulterior motive people are looking beyond the surface.

Bad for sure the next governor of the state can invalidate this rubbish act. Most of the land in Ajaokuta belong to the Igala people and this is the bulk of the land was given. Remember that best asset of kogi/Igalah people is located here. Is not a place to play with or given out for political gain. Bad for this foolish guy bello

Like I always said, you people are not interested in solution and peace. All what you want is noise towards 2019.

Abeg don't drag all the middlebelt people into the stupidity of Egbirra people. Can't you see that the Igalas and Okuns in Kogi state rejected it?

Ebiras are predominantly muslims and majority have sold themselves to Hausa fulani in the name of islam.

Also, this by mistake Egbirra governor is doing all he can to win Buhari's heart so that they can rig the next Kogi election for him to assume 2nd tenure, cos he sure knows that the Igalas and okuns hate him and will never vote him for another tenure.

Go and post any campaign picture of this governor in any part of Kogi east (Igala land) and watch Igala youths lynch you to death.

Should we all tag all Igbos as senseless because of the stupidity and sycophancy of Rochas?
That is a valid point

You are right.

PMB dodged all debates in the 2015 elections. It is obvious what he and his promoters were hiding.

This should not be allowed! All candidates must debate each other in the 36 states of the country. Let them sweat it.

With this, all their wisdom, ignorance, intelligence , dullardry will be exposed!

What good will come out of giving out your land for cattle colony?
There are farmers who need land to plant crops. There are other industrialists begging for land to invest. BTW, these industries will pay taxes as well as employ youths.
Of what use is cattle colony?
Don't ask me sir, search the Internet you'll definitely find text or video of the Agric minister explaining the concept and it's benefits.
If you don't know where to search, search YouTube with the keywords "The core".

they should buy land like other business men. What nonsense entitlement makes it
Okay to give them other people’s lands for their own profit? Are they giving free land to others in their own states to run businesses?

Your logic is good but its not professional and in tune with the stipulation of the law. The 1973 Land Decree Act states that all lands within the territory of Nigeria belongs and are in control of the federal government. However, that does not mean that you do not have rights over your fathers land. What it means is that, the FG can decide to collect your father's land from you at any time for national interest and then pay you full compensation. Establishing colonies in states does not mean that the lands would be collected from the owners for free and by force. Entitlements and royalties would be paid immediately and subsequently to the original owners of the land. That's the law. So, let's not always allow sentiments and tribalism becloud our sense of judgment.

you see what I was saying? That means with the influx of Fulani via cattle colonies and collaboration with the housa king, kogi state is bound to be a Fulani ddominated state. The future and welfare of kogites hangs on the balance.
Let me even ask.Does Yahaya bello think he is more wise than all the other state governors who has rejected the idea of cattle colonies in their state? I mean how can a young governor in the person of Yahaya bello not learn from history and see that Fulani's are not the kind of people to accommodate and be friendly with. Anyway I keep my fingers crossed while events unfold on the political space of kogi state. The future of the kogites is better not imagined. May God help them.

Let the federal government start by collecting those lands to give to other businesses that aren’t Fulani in origin then we will know they are serious about the wellbeing of all Nigerians not just the northerners.

Royalties will be paid to whom? In Nigeria?

You, don’t allow sentiment and tribalism cloud your judgment. You really shouldn’t .

As for me, my judgment is fine. I don’t support anything that’s not fair to all the parties involved. But you wouldn’t understand that would you? Years of Privilege and sense of entitlement can’t let you see how taking someone else’s belonging is not fair to them.

None of the core northern states have any objection to it; however, you fail to note that the primary reason the herders bother to venture southwards and therefore subject themselves to unwelcome hostility/humiliation is due to the longer rainy season and greener vegetation along with water; otherwise they would have no need to do so.
