Information reaching us now has it that every arrangement has been concluded to impeach the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere before the end of February, 2018.

Our insider source at the seat of power in Imo State who pleaded anonymity disclosed that there has been mid-night nocturnal meetings among some highly placed politicians in the state in Government House to do everything possible to remove the number two citizen of the state as part of their plans to silence him from the Governorship race in 2019.

To perfect the heinous act, the source reports that Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Obinna Mbata is to make available over a billion naira from government coffer to be share among House Members, Uche Nwosu is to provide lands with Certificate of Occupancy for a two-third members of Imo State House of Assembly while Hon. Lugard Osuji, the sacked Majority leader was to coordinate and convince his colleagues to accept the money for the hatchet job.

He further disclosed that the first lady, Nkechi Okorocha was to work on Governor Rochas Okorocha to believe and accept the deal as the only way to remove opposition within the corridor of power in order to install the Governors son-in-law as Governor of the state in 2019.

Revealing further, the source disclosed that the plot was that once Eze Madumere is removed as Governor, the current Speaker of IMHA, Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim from Okigwe Zone would be installed as Deputy Governor while Hon. Lugard Osuji from Owerri Municipal would take over as Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly.

We further gathered that apart from the first meeting at Government House few days ago, another meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday (today) by 2am at Government House close to old Chapel, pointing out that the arrow head behind all this plot is the first lady who is hell bent in ensuring that Prince Madumere is removed to soften the ground for her son in-law as Governor in 2019.

Imo people should resist this and be aware of this plot.
