It's so appalling to hear of chartered institutes springing up everyday. I just saw one now that claims they're the Chartered Institute of Commerce. Since when did commerce become a professional discipline in Nigeria? Seems they've turned the whole thing to money-making ventures where people are clipped of their hard-earned money all in the name of being chartered. I wonder if tomorrow we won't hear of Chartered Institute of area boys or madmen. Na wa for Nigeria o! |
