Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has lampooned the Buhari led administration over the neglect of the Benin-Ehor-Ekpoma-Auchi federal road.

The road is in a deplorable state and has been a headache to state residents for months now. In a video obtained by PoliticsNGR, Obaseki who was visibly disappointed told journalists;

"We have begged, made please, We have done everything possible to the federal authorities to just help with maintenance before the rains. You can see, we are cut off as a state. I mean this is really devastating for us. Our economy is grounded. We just don't know, we don't know. We are really helpless.

"You can see yourself, nothing has been done, but the issue is if 3 months ago, Our call was heeded, We will not be in the situation we are in today. We just don't see care, Nobody is really concerned about this country. It's really sad. it's not about Federal roads, it's about Nigeria."
