Lmao, dude you're reading what you want from sources you want. Quote me anywhere - there's no such thing as a cure to homosexuality. So what if I said there is a cure for being straight? If you can link to just one peer reviewed paper in a reputed scientific journal that states that homosexuality is an illness that needs a cure, this discussion would be over.

hi Shankie. My advice is quit trying to be who you are not for the sake of your sanity. If you are attracted to the same sex, lying to yourself and pretending to be who you are not doesn't sound healthy, it'd only make you end up hurting yourself and even the people around you. You have already tried changing your sexuality and from your story you weren't successful, that should tell you it's about time you man up and learn to accept the things you cannot change and be happy... unless you know for a fact that you can change(and you'd rather be straight) , then you can go ahead and keep trying... it's no one else's but your prerogative to own your life. my brother don't cook up statistics oo. I only know Holland has good economy and they are free of serious natural disaster. although they aren't suffering from any disease more than any country, its steal a popular consensus that homosexuality is complicit in many serious sexual disease.

lol,i got what I posted from a scientific journal bro. I never said being gay is an illness,i only said its a deviation from normalcy hence the "abnormal" tag. Okay I'm going to stop using the word "cure" cos I think it's the cause of the argument but certainly I know for sure that there are independent researchers looking for a way to "change" homosexual individuals,i can still post the link to the journal if you want. I said the opinion was silly, not your person, but if it makes you feel better you can call me foolish, it doesn't change the fact that your logic of saying that one chooses not to be attracted to someone of the same sex irrespective of HOW FINE they are is just plain silly, because Heterosexuals will never be sexually or romantically attracted to the same sex irrespective of how fine they are and so for Homosexuals and the opposite sex. Like I said you can go and check indexes of HIV/AIDS in Holland, Belgium, Denmark, France, UK and most of the countries that have legalised Homosexuality and come back and tell me the levels. I'm sure the disease you are talking of is not more than HIV. These countries have shown with their natural stories that legalising homosexuality does not increase any disease, does not degrade economy or creates natural disasters, does not destroy heterosexual marriages, does not increase the normal amount of homosexuals and surely does not make God hate a country.

Of course anybody can do anything and call it scientific but until it is peer-reviewed and accepted by the International science community, the person is just shooting personal shots. That's why I asked for links to something in a scientific journal of international pursuit.

Besides, finding a way to change people's sexual orientation is not an indictment of their sexual orientation. I mean, they found a way to change people's sexual assignment - does that mean their previous sex was bad? Some people are just not happy with who they are and would prefer to be different and science would always look for a solution for them, even if some gay gene is discovered tomorrow.

I'm a devoted christian. I believe in Jesus And his teachings. But what I don't seem to understand is Why he hasn't changed my Sexuality. I've prayed. Threatened to harm myself, believing he'll heal me from homosexuality. But all to to no avail.
