Actually this oath thing works, I know of a town in kebbi state where all this Fulani were robbing houses, killing natives that rear cattle's because they believe cattle business is a Fulani thing. so after much deliberation by the elders of the town they had to make the Fulani robbers since most people know them, they had to make them use Quran to make and oath and since then there have been relative peace in the town. But still we can't give into archaic practice, we still need a lasting solution of ranching. |

NaijaMutant:The cow in aso Vila is ur president whether u like it or not and he is also more than ur father who drink ogogoro and dog carcass as bush meat. Why do u let the cow be ur president in the begining ? Nobody shall respect u or ur father if u failed to respects old men, u mean cow is better than human bkos buhari is above ur family by prestige ,love, justice, money and leisure not u that always struggle with garri and fried groundnut in the village, having no job, learned nothing but insult and propagating hatred among people. Omeokachie: You got it,fayose fall hand big time here. You don't do such with Fulani/Hausa people. Why is that emir concerned about ekiti,is ekiti state the only state that has problems with Fulani herdsmen? Why hasn't that emir sent emissaries to Benue,Enugu, and many other states where Fulani herdsmen are a menace? just because Fayose has taken a the right step in dealing with the Fulani herdsmen he now wanna act. They are terrorists, don't ever negotiate with them. Fayoso, shine eye o.. 1 Like |
