why is it that players don't last long with the super eagles, much of the players that reached WC 2014 final are still the regulars for their countries but the case with nigeria is different, of the 11 players that started against zambia(game that qualified us for WC), only three players( mikel obi, victor moses and onazi ogenyi) played in the 2014 WC. Players that did well in 2014 WC are nowhere near call up to the national team.

another question is that why are nigerian players so inconsistent, they shine for 2 seasons consecutively and they are in oblivion two years after. we have won 5 u17 world cups but we have never made it to the quarter final of the senior world cup, why, what is wrong with our players? the nigerian plauers that faced argentina in the Olympics in 2004 are not relevant again, the likes of kroos, david de gea and isco have gone from u17 WC participation to being in arguments for the best player in their respective positions?

Juwon Oshaniwa that doesn't have a club at the moment? Micheal Babatunde that plays in Qatar second division? Efe Ambrose has passed his prime even if he is starting for Hibernian. Lastly, Kenneth Omeruo is still very much in the team.

same thing I am saying, why is it like that, after good showings, they turn poor, why can't they be consistent like their european counterparts?

omeruo is just being called up to make the squad full, how many matches has he played for nigeria since rohr became coach?
