OP don't give people wrong and incomplete information pls. Turning off a car's engine at 120mph means you've simply unleashed a moving bullet that can never be controlled again. What kind of advice is that? Is that the brilliant way you can think of to stop a speeding car? For your infomation a car turned off at that speed could still do up to half a kilometre or more on high speed depending on the condition of the road before slowing down to stop and that's enough time for something catastrophic to happen. I was revving a stationary car once and the engine tripped off and the car started rolling backwards slowly o, yet all the pressing on the now powerless brake could barely stop the car until it bashed against another car before finally halting. Not to talk of a car at 120mph. Pls people never ever switch off the engine in a moving car, atleast with the power on you can still easily control the steering to avoid fatal collisions like pedestrians etc while looking for a safe place to put the car. |

Very nicely explained indeed. Would be a great assistance to the drivers who get stuck in between. And for more and exact information, you could refer to the user manual of a vehicle. It would always deliver the most precise information about a vehicle’s pedal system. But if you do not possess the user manual, get a copy of it for free on https://manuals.co/.
