This has resulted in an unrivalled increase in the number of his fans. Despite his fame and stardom, publicist to Jim has revealed that the notable actor is mourning. His precious and highly cherished grandmother Deaconess Felicia Obikelu was recently lost to the cold hands of death in her village in Awka south local government in Anambra State. Jim and his family will release burial details later. As if the death of his grandmother was not enough, Tutupie the Abuja based ex-Rhythm FM presenter and a one time lover of Jim Iyke for some weeks now has simmered in making all forms of threats and accusations at Jim in the papers. She even went as far as withdrawing her statements in one of the papers, but she is back again to launch a renewed assault. In her words “I am back again to tell the world the part I played with Jim and how he messed up. This time I am going harder”. Jim has also been accused on the internet of granting an interview in Ghana making huge references to Tutupie. In a swift reaction, his publicist, Bigsam Media issued a press statement signed by Bosun Bankole that Jim Iyke did not grant any interview in Ghana and so he did not make any reference to anybody. He is ready to defend his fundamental human rights in a law court if she further scandalizes him in the papers. “Our client will not hesitate to go to court if she further scandalizes him in the pages of newspapers because this is a simple case of character assassination. She went to the media to say all the allegations she made against him were false and apologized, but now she is coming back to say another thing.
