Poem title - Gay

Today,I woke up
To an intriguing fact
Am not normal
I felt different.

An exceptional being,I called myself
A new discovery yet to be unravelled
The law ,likes repel and unlikes attracts
am immune to
As my desires are greater than usual.

Viewed though as an immorality
Hated for who I am
Buh I hated myself more
As tears came dripping down
complying with more heartaches.

Over time
my desires defy me
Only my emotions obey
I accepted who I am
To escape the bondage
Bondage of hatefulness
Channelled towards me.

Only then did I learn
What i truely am,
Definition of a word
A three letters word
Having different meanings
I am GAY.
What meaning will you judge me with
And
What is the meaning of my GAY
