The governor of Niger state, Sani Bello visited Kampani Bobi Grazing Reserve yesterday, one of the 23 Grazing Reserves created by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello led Administration to curb the Farmer/Herdsmen crisis in Nigeria.

He addressed some of the inhabitants of the area.

In his words:

"I don't expect any farmer here. I have just been told that there are some farmers who are here illegally. So if there is any farmer here, I have just given instruction that notice should be given and they should know that this is strictly a gazetted Grazing Reserve".

Swats of desolate lands in the North is where the Fulani terrorists belong! Not anywhere in the south!

Very good. All the so-called Grazing Reserves should be in the north, excluding Kogi, kwara and Benue states. cheesy

Good for THEM!

The colony should begin and end in Northern Nigeria. Don't bring it to us in the South please.

BTW, I stopped eating beef long time ago including Suya for health reasons.

let's see how it goes but Niger should note that, in no time herdsmen will settle there and demand there constituency or LG. before you know, they will dominate

Niger State has vast land and lush vegetation, a good site for ranch.

No farmer should be seen there. I hope the grazing cows and their herdsmen know to plant the grasses their cattle will eat in order to replenish supply, not after parasitically feeding on free grass they will look for farms to destroy again.

its simple, Fulani and Hausa herdsmen stay in d north. Yoruba herdsmen stay in the west and if any of my people are interested in rearing cattle, look for ranch. As 90% of our community clash over here is coz of land. No land to waste and destroy in igboland.

Let us even hope they paid adequate compensation to the original community owners of those lands, that they forcefully took over to create those grazing reserves....

And let us also hope the reserves are properly fenced and the perimeter is secured, so that the cows would not leave those reserves to go outside and start trampling on farmers' farms in order to get enough grass to eat! angry

Yoruba herdsmen kwa! My sister, the last thing a Yoruba man will do is to follow cattle up and down. They don’t have time for that o
