A twitter user has been blocked by OAPs of a popular radio station in Lagos for shading them. The twitter user by the handle @EtniesJags shared a post by a verified user account @WhatTheFFacts which states that ”foreign accent syndrome (FAS) is an extremely rare brain disorder that causes sufferers to speak involuntarily in a foreing accent”. Sharing the post, @etniesjags fingered Beat FM OAPs as examples of those who might be suffering from such disorder. Feeling insulted by the insinuation, OAPs of the radio station, Toolz Oniru and Osi Suave, who are known to present their radio shows in foreign accent, reacted by blocking the twitter user.
