School owners threatening to deal with us- Victim’s parents

The Ogun State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered the transfer of the two teachers arrested on Wednesday for allegedly gang-raping a six-year-old pupil inside the toilet at a private school, Peaklane, in the Akute area of the state to the Criminal Investigation Department at the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this to our correspondent on Thursday while confirming the incident.

The Point had exclusively reported the alleged gang-raping of the 6-year-old pupil by the two suspected teachers on Wednesday.

The police in Ajuwon had arrested the two suspected teachers simply identified as Mr. Leke and Anyawu, over the gang-rape of the pupil.

I have to update you about the alleged rape incident of a minor by two teachers. The case has been dismissed from the court yesterday. The accused were proven innocent as it was discovered the child was lying. She was repeating what her mother asked her to say. Further tests were carried out and there was absolutely no trace of penetration in her vagina. It was discovered that the officers of Ajuwon Police Station were compromised since they had been bribed by the parents of the minor. The mother who denied access to the child before the hearing kept insisting she had to speak to her daughter. When cross examined, there was a change in the girl's story which didn't corroborate the initial story she dropped. It was a shoddy attempt by the parents of the minor to milk a huge settlement from the prestigious school.
