West Ham defender Winston Reid was taken off on a stretcher during the clash with Swansea. The New Zealand international dived into block Mike van der Hoorn but appeared to twist his knee awkwardly. Reid was visibly in a lot of pain as he was attended to by medical staff. After a stoppage of about six minutes, Reid was taken off on a stretcher and was given oxygen as he left the field. His injury is another blow to boss David Moyes The Hammers are already without defensive duo Angelo Ogbonna and James Collins. And the injury to Reid forced Moyes into a restructure at the Liberty Stadium. He was replaced by Sam Byram, whose introduction saw the visitors revert to a back four. Source: www.columny.com

Probably if it had happened in 9ja the dude would have died by now but the oxygen was to help his breathing considering his condition and biting cold weather He will pull through |
