Inability of the nation to check its population growth rate alongside its GDP may be fuelling key economic concerns that borders on the economic and social well-being of the Nigerian people, members of the Organised Private Sector have said. With a nominal GDP growth of 6.99% at the end of the fourth quarter of 2017 and an estimated population figure of 195.88 million, the OPS stated that the country’s population is growing faster than the economic growth rate.

Tell the northerners please. Polygamy for now shouldn't be encouraged. I'm not saying men should divorce some of their wives but those who haven't done it shouldn't be encouraged to do it.
