The Peace Corp is a voluntary organization and it can be as big as whatever the promoters want to dream. However, the attempt to force government to take it over is one of the most ill-advised moves anyone can think of.

The Civil Defence Force was the last major element of security architecture we needed to make formal, that has been done. Whoever, wants to get employed can either get employed there or any of the myriad of Armed Forces and security agencies we have. The National Park Rangers have also been given the recognition they deserve which is the global practice.

The Peace Corp is no different from Man O' War, Boys Scouts, Boys Brigades and the likes. Run your private organization and stop trying to cover the deceit of young people ignorantly joining the organization at their own expense.
