Compliant:
Thank God for the offer but I have my reservations

1. Where is the location in Abuja?

2. Have you considered accommodation?

My brother the number one thing in Abuja is accommodation .

You get accommodation for 400,000 to 750000 depending on location, and what the average salary earner in Abuja does is to get an apartment around Karu site, nyaya and nasarawa

Now my brother do the calculation yourself

60,000 for 7month is 420,000 and agent 30,000 = 450,000 . this means that you would be working for your organisation for free for 7-8 months and 2 months salary would be for transportation and feeding. Meaning the highest you can save in a year of working is 100000 , which is actually not bad for a fresher BUT THE TRUTH IS ANY JOB YOU ARE DOING THAT WOULD COST YOU MORE THAN 2-3 MONTHS SALARY FOR ACCOMMODATION IS NOT A GOOD JOB.

you can get a good self contain around kuje, Karu, kubwa, bwari, for as low as 150k.

Accept the job ,go on rent2shareng and find a 3 bed flat to share with two other people as close to your place of work as possible , trekking should be your new best friend ( instead of taking two buses try taking just one and trek the rest - it will save you money and is also good for your health , cook at home and always pack food to the office . Do all this , work very hard ,see if you can get a raise and look out for a new job . Goodluck

Bro the answer to this question is very simple. Sit down and carry out the following exercise:

Step 1.

Tabulate the costs involved with moving to Abuja, including rent and feeding and everything else. Compare with your salary. Can your salary sustain you in Abuja? If yes, move to step 2. If no terminate immediately. If expenses are matching your income then ask yourself if there are any intangible benefits to be had here. For example, what will you gain from the training? Is the firm a prestigious one? Are you likely to get a promotion any time soon?

Step 2.

What are the opportunity costs of moving to Abuja? What will you miss out on? How might these other opportunities compare when you perform the basic financial analysis carried out in step 1?

You now have enough data to determine whether the move is financial okay for you, and whether or not it is the right move for your career.

No one can answer these for you.

YOU REP YOUR MONIKER!
