Applied 15th of August (paper route). Did biometrics the same day (15th Aug). Linked application on 21st August. Upfront medicals passed on 28th August. Background check started 28th August. Visa approved on 21st September. Correspondence letter came in today (22nd Sept).
I’ll share the full details of all the documents later, lemme give God thanks and charge my phone. God that did mine will do yours for sure.

First step to take is for you to make Google ur best friend for recommendation of Uni , after which you will read up this thread from Part 1 till now(We are on Part 14 now) to know how to go about ur Visa Apllication. I think this can be of assistance to you. A decision has already been made before your withdrawal application is being processed. I think they will rather tag your application as "it cannot be withdrawn" when they want to process your withdrawal request.

Anyway I was reading through the comments and I saw that you guys were getting updates on your application. I didn’t get any o. I kept getting a mail saying “no updates to your application.
Anyway, I dropped my passport off at vfs lagos yesterday and I got a tracking no this morning but when I tried tracking it on their website it said “no results”
Did anyone else have this issue?

Your chances of getting a visa with a PGD are as good as you make it. Try and put up a strong and convincing application. The higher the degree you are going for, the more convincing to a visa officer would be your purpose of visit to Canada. Masters degree students on the average have a higher chance of visa success than PGD, while PHD students have a higher chance than masters degree students. In that regard, I will highly advise you concentrate your effort in looking for a masters program to get into and apply for a visa with a PGd only if you cannot get into a masters program. Yes, it is possible to get admission for January 2019, infact it is the application now open for submission all accross the board in Canada. Best wishes!! |

Thank you for your reply. I submitted my application since June 1 biometric update June 13.. since then no medical request from then. Still waiting patiently I submitted mine on May 19, Biometrics 23rd of May and medicals was upfront. Don’t worry, just keep hoping and praying for the best 1 Like |
