First of all, I want to state a few facts. I read that Loyola Jesuit College has won the WAEC award twice. Actually, this is a misnomer. The first four sets of Loyola Jesuit College, from its pioneer set which graduated in July, 2002, have all won the WAEC Augustus Bandele Oyediran award. In fact, for the 2005 set, it had the best and third best WAEC student. The fifth set which graduated in 2006 however came third because of a problem with the English Language results. Also, loyola is just about the cheapest school of it's callibre. Although fees have been increasing in recent years due to inflation, it is considerably cheap and not necessarily a school of only the rich. Many people seem to have this misconceprion about the school.
As WAEC results for the 2006 and 2007 session have been released, we are hoping yet for an excellent outcome. Obviously, and needless to say, i am very proud of my alma mater.
