I don't mind making my own money , that's not the point. Financial independence is something we are taught to strive for from a young age , so that ain't a foreign theory to me. The point here is that , I wouldn't overlook a rich guy and embrace the broke one because I'm afraid " he's going to hurt or use me" because the broke guy is equally capable of that.

We clearly come from different societies . From where I'm from, it's quite possible hence rich guys here mostly marry middle class women , they marry the rich as well but rarely . It's a different story when the lady is rich though. Here the middle class homes and the rich ( particularly new entrants to this category) are not far from each other. This means we shop at the same malls , eat at the same restaurants, go to the same malls, go to the same clubs . The only difference is how much we spend and how and who we spend it to lol. Remember we are not talking about the wealthy here , even though they too don't live in isolation. If the middle classers can't get to them , the rich will .
