A Non-Governmental organization has the following vacant positions in their organization
(i). Project Director: The Project Director provides overall technical and administrative leadership and expertise for the activity and serves as the primary liaison with Donor Agency/Nigeria on management and technical matters. S/he will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the project and report directly to the designated Donor Agency Agreement Officer’s Representative (AOR). S/he will supervise project implementation and ensure the project meets stated goals and reporting requirements. The Project Director will take a leadership role in coordination among Donor Agency and key stakeholders. The Project Director will be expected to work in complex, politically charged and unstable environments, work across different cultures, and manage diverse teams to deliver impact within agreed timelines.
Education: Requires a Master’s degree in education or a field relevant to the proposed activity from an accredited university or tertiary institution.
Skills and Experience: At least 10 years of experience in relevant management, supervisory, technical experience working with programs/projects that are of a similar scope and scale to this proposed activity is required (at least 5 of these years must be in a management/leadership position). At least five years of experience in the education sector in Sub-Saharan Africa, preferably in Nigeria or West Africa is required. Experience in education in conflict-affected, alternative, and rural settings is a must. Language: The candidate must be professionally proficient and fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Hausa is preferred, but not required.

Position Description
The Senior Non-Formal Education Advisor will provide technical guidance on the establishment and strengthening of non-formal education (NFE) programs. S/He will also provide leadership and strategic program oversight to establish and strengthen NFE programs, including home schools and coaching centers. S/He will also support the development and implementation of literacy support programs for parents and caregivers of children enrolled in non-formal education programs to support overall project objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the technical lead on all NFE activities;
• Lead the design, oversight, and monitoring of non-formal education activities in all project areas.
• Work closely with project staff, government entities, and other stakeholders to design and implement targeted strategies for improved community participation in promoting non-formal education outcomes in literacy and numeracy.
• Collaborate with other ongoing projects, particularly GON, USG agencies, USG partners, other donors and targeted beneficiaries, in Nigeria to ensure effective coordination of the project activities.
• Contribute detailed and accurate written inputs to fulfill project technical and financial reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with partners, sub-grantees, government agencies, international and local NGOs, schools, and community-based organizations on project activities.
• Participate in relevant coordination meeting to present project activities, ensure coordination with other projects, and assure highest quality of project implementation.
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in education, international development, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of and extensive experience in implementing various non-formal education models in Nigeria for diverse age groups, ranging from 6 to 15.
• Familiarity with the Nigeria non-formal education sector, particularly within the Northern context.
• Experience with USAID-funded projects (ideally, in a senior technical position) highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement strategies that employ evidence-based approaches to meet project targets, especially under rigorous timelines.
• Experience working and collaborating with diverse sets of stakeholders, such as local partners, government officials, and international staff.
• Ability to respond on short notice and plan and execute several activities at once.
• Ability to work under pressure, as part of a team or independently, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, and ability to build and motivate diverse teams.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Hausa required;

(iii) Community Mobilization/NGO Coordinator
The Community Mobilization Officer will be based in Borno/Yobe state and report to the Project Director.
The Community Mobilization Officer will implement community based program focusing on key project objectives and ensuring all modalities that lead to project sustainability are well developed and validated.

(iv) M&E Advisor
Attributes of the Senior M&E Specialist
• A Master’s degree or higher in fields relevant to monitoring and evaluation.
• S/he must have at least five years senior level experience in monitoring and evaluating complex systems improvement programs in Africa or developing countries elsewhere.
• S/he must have demonstrated a depth and breadth of technical and management expertise, strong interpersonal, writing and oral presentation skills.
(v) Director of Finance and Grants
Attributes of the Director of Finance and Grants
• A Master’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance or other relevant fields.
• S/he must have at least eight years’ experience in administrative and financial management of large international projects including experience in the management of foreign or international grant in Nigeria.
• S/he must have familiarity with management of foreign or international grant in Nigeria and financial regulations and management systems as well as experience and skills in developing and managing large budgets.
• S/he should be proficient in relevant computer applications and databases. S/he must possess excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communications skills, demonstrated supervisory skills, and ability to work well on teams.
